In this article, we will show you how to create, configure, and connect your Binance API key to the Sema app.

Once you register in Sema, you will have three options to connect your Binance
- Binance in one click – fast and secure connection on the official Binance.com website (recommended)
- Manual connection
In case you do not have a Binance account, you can create it.
Fast and secure connection in one click
Binance Fast API uses the OAuth 2.0 protocol to authenticate and authorize users. This tool is the most secure way to set up API keys and is recommended by Binance. It allows users to authorize specific account permissions quickly, create API keys, and automatically connect their accounts to Sema. This allows you to start using Sema services without manually creating API keys. All API keys generated by this system are transferred in encrypted form to Sema. To set up an API key, please, follow the next steps.
Once you press “Binance in one click,” you will be redirected to the Binance official website, where you will need to log in using your email, phone number, and Google or Apple account.
After successfully logging in, you will be requested to give Sema access to your Binance account. When you press “Continue,” API keys will be created and set automatically, and you will be able to start trading in Sema.
Manual settings
If you still want to choose the manual setting, press “Use API keys” when connecting an exchange.
After, you will see the following page.
You can connect your Binance manually through your phone or computer.
Manual connection via a phone
To start your manual connection, log in to the “API Management” in the Binance app. Make sure the Lite mode is turned off.
On the home page, click the “More” icon.
Scroll down to the “Others section” and click to “API Management”.
Create API key
Click “Create API” and come up with a name for your key.
Request verification codes to be sent to your email and phone number and enter them.
The created keys will appear in the API List. Find API you need and press “Edit”.
Expand the card and check the box to enable Spot & Margin Trading.
Turn on “Restrict access to trusted IPs only”, copy and paste these IP addresses and press “Confirm”.

Scroll up to the names of the keys and click “Save”.
You will need to send a verification code to your phone and confirm your new settings.
Finally, just copy the keys and insert them.
Copy the API key and paste it into the Sema app.
Manual connection via computer
Open the Binance website and find “API Management”
Create API key
Click “Create API” and come up with a name for your key.
Request verification codes to be sent to your email and phone and enter them.
Click “Edit” the created key, check the box “Enable spot and margin trading” and make sure “Symbol Whitelist” is not enabled. Then save the key.
Turn on “Restrict access to trusted IPs only” copy and paste these IP addresses and press “Confirm”:

You will need to send a verification code to your phone and confirm your new settings.
Enter keys into Sema app
Scan the QR-code from the computer or enter keys manually.
